Had lots of visitors and sales during my open studio, yeah!! New this year latex prints @ 40. I'm happy to be able to offer interested art lovers an affordable nice quality reproduction. The opening is Friday, November 4th 6-9pm. Gallery open by appt. The city of Wilmington hosts an Art Loop which provides bus transport to all gallery, museum openings in the city.

Smoke and Watercolors

"Smoke" is included in the upcoming "Into the Third Decade" art exhibition at Stedman Gallery at Rutgers University in Camden NJ. This exhibit showcases the work of 15 artists called Assemblage. Assemblage is a group of contemporary artists who meet regularly to discuss the currant art environment, critic each others work and also exhibit in galleries and museums. This painting is one of six that chosen to be included in this exhibition. "Smoke" is oil on birch panel measuring 30"x40". Also below are two watercolors titled "Big Wave III" and "Scarlett Poppy II".

Hoop on the Hill

This is a watercolor called "Hoop on the Hill". I've been fortunate to have sold several paintings recently. It's funny two of the paintings where in different galleries and sent back to me, one because it was too shiny and the other because it wasn't shiny enough! These two paintings just sold, so you just never know! Sometimes things just work out right.

Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts-New Alumni Gallery

This Friday, Nov 5th 5:30, Opening at the Pennslyvania Academy of the Fine Arts in the beautiful museum. This is the first exhibition in the new alumni gallery. The show will be up until January 2, 2011. My painting "Vision of Nirvana" is included in this exhibition.

I've been thinking about this painting "After the War", I created this in 2003 and sorry to say, we are still at war. I'm going to work on another painting similar to this one. This painting resides in Florida now, purchased by a friend.
